    Be suspicious on any emails that ask for your account login information. Legitimate emails from YouTube will never ask for your login information. If an email looks suspicious, it may be a phishing or malware scam, do not click on any links before verifying they are correct by hovering over them. Ensure the email address and sender names match, and look out for any downloads or attachments, especially ones that are very large or run a program on your computer. These can be malware that get downloaded may cause extensive damage to data and computers or may be used to gain unauthorized access to your network.

a) Reporting a video directly via Home page
  1. Sign in to YouTube.
  2. Below the player for the video you want to report, click More. In the drop-down menu, choose Report
  3. Select the reason that best fits the violation in the video and Click REPORT

b) Reporting a video by accessing it
  1. Go to the video and click at the bottom right corner and Click Report
  2. Choose the reason to report video and reason that best fits the violation.
  3. Tick the checkbox if you want to report the link also. Click Next.
  4. Select the time period on the video that violates and add any additional details regarding the violation.

  3. Select the reason for reporting. Click REPORT
