Viber Issues

Viber is a popular app with over 100 million monthly active users globally. Available on both iOS and Android, it supports messaging, voice/video calls, and group chats.

1. Change your online status

   Go to Settings → Privacy and uncheck "Share ‘Online’ Status".

   
2. Hide profile photo from unknown users

   In Privacy settings, untick "Show your photo".

3. Disable seen status

   Under Privacy, uncheck "Send ‘seen’ status".

4. Use an App Lock

   Use a biometric/password-based App Lock to secure the app from unauthorized access.

If an account is compromised, deleting personal data ensures sensitive information is no longer accessible.

1. Go to Settings → Privacy
   
2. Select Personal data → Delete your data
   
3. Click Delete to confirm
   

Use the support link to report spam, abuse, or privacy violations.

1. Visit Viber Support
2. Fill in the issue details and click Submit Ticket
   

If your account is hacked, it's best to deactivate it to prevent further misuse.

1. Go to Settings → Account
   
2. Select Deactivate Account, enter your number, and confirm deactivation
