Instagram Safety Topics

By using security features provided by Instagram, users can better secure their accounts. One of the most effective methods is enabling Two-Factor Authentication.

Making your Instagram account private ensures that only approved followers can view your content.

Instagram allows users to report impersonation accounts, especially if your photos or identity are used without consent.

Note: Instagram will review the request and take action. Final decision rests with Instagram.

If you received an email from Instagram notifying an email address change, you can undo it using the option in that email.

If additional changes were made (like your password), you must report the issue directly to Instagram.

You will receive an email with a link to access your account and reset your password.

If any photo or video violates your privacy, report it to Instagram immediately.
