Radicalisation involves the idea of spreading radical religious or cultural views online. Very often these involve hatred and violence towards others. Sometimes exposure to such views can happen very innocently, through curiosity, or chat rooms. However, algorithms operate in such a way that once one shows an interest in a topic, more and more similar material will appear on your page until these messages can seem almost normal – with dangerous consequences.

If you do find radical material online, report it. And be cautious about being curious about seeing more of similar material least you also become of a victim of grooming teams.
